‘Avengers 2’ Plans Reshoots, Sequels to Film Back-to-Back

The cast of The Avengers: Age of Ultron is set to do some reshoots in London early next year. Reshoots often happen when scenes don’t work out as planned, or when new scenes need to be added. Daily Mail has reported that Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Paul Bettany and Scarlet Johansson will be the ones on scene for the reshoots. Tom Hiddleston has also been asked to come back for two weeks.

Idris Elba slipped word that Heimdall and Loki would be returning for Avengers 2 a while back. Seems like cat doesn’t have his tongue after all. Joss Whedon adding Loki to the set could spell trouble for The Avengers.

On top of the current reshooting news, Avengers 3: Infinity War Part 1 and Avengers 4: Infinity War Part 2 will also be shooting back-to-back in 2015. Filming will take place at Pinewood Studios in the United Kingdom. The movies will be releasing a year apart in 2018 and 2019.

The Avengers: Age of Ultron is still on schedule to be in theaters in six months’ time on May 1, 2015.
