BioWare has announced new plans for a Mass Effect theme park ride, which, according to the game developer, is set to be installed at California’s Great America in Santa Clara, California. The interactive ride is set to have a live narrator, taking guests to distant planets to save the world against larger than life enemies utilizing 3D technology and 4D effects. It’s uncertain if the game is set in the current Mass Effect story if it’ll be linked into the next installment, however it would be disappointing if we didn’t see Commander Shepard somewhere in the process. That being said, the newest installment of the Mass Effect series is set to start an entirely new story, with new characters separate from the original trilogy of games.
The new theme park ride is set to open later next year, we can likely expect more news coming towards the end of the year.
