Dragon Age: Inquisition creative director Mike Laidlaw has revealed in that both the Xbox 360 and Xbox One versions of Dragon Age: Inquisition will likely include voice commands similar to the voice commands featured in Mass Effect 3. Speaking in a recent interview with OXM Laidlaw revealed that, “We’re expecting that the Xbox 360 and Xbox One editions will ship with a Kinect-enabled voice command feature, just like Mass Effect 3 did.” Speaking in the same interview Dragon Age: Inquisition producer Cameron Lee then confirmed that the Xbox versions may implement SmartGlass functionality, but he not specific as to how. “It needs to make sense, of course, we want Inquisition to be an experience you can take with you everywhere – to work, the commute home, the living room, bed.”
Dragon Age: Inquisition is the upcoming third title in the Dragon Age franchise and over the course of its development Bioware have been more than a little experimental with its mechanics―there were stories about the potential inclusion of multiplayer circulating back in February which certainly would have been a bold new step for this relatively young series.
