Treyarch, the developer of the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops III, has apparently set a date for its reveal of this year’s Call of Duty Zombie Mode. Taking to Twitter, the developer sent out a tweet with a statement “it’s time to start writing the next chapter”, along with an image, showing a photo of zombies with the words “San Diego July 9” written in a notebook, along with some colored pencils or pens for whatever reason.
If the date and location sound familiar, it’s probably because July 9th is the opening date for this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, leading many to speculate that we will be hearing more about the return of Zombie Mode then. Zombie Mode first debuted in the Call of Duty series in Call of Duty: World at War (though it was called Nazi Zombies in that game), which was also developed by Treyarch. Call of Duty: Black Ops III is set to release on November 6th of this year for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC.
