Cruise Line to Offer ‘Game of Thrones’ Location Tour

‘Game of Thrones’ fans who dream of seeing “The North” in person can take Crystal Cruise’s “Enter Game of Thrones” half-day excursion tour of several main locations where the show was filmed in Northern Ireland near Belfast.

According to USA today, participants will learn to shoot arrows, take pictures with costumes from the show and learn about how real life centuries-old castles are transformed into sets for the Realm of Westeros; “From Belfast, tourgoers will travel to the shores of Strangford Lough, location of 18th century Castle Ward and estate, which includes Forest Park and Audley’s Castle. The 820-acre landscape and medieval buildings served as pivotal sites for the show’s first and second seasons.”

Two different cruise tours will offer the ‘Game of Thrones’ excursion, a seven-night British Isles cruise starting on August 24th, and a 14-night Ireland, Iceland and New England cruise starting September 5th, both on the cruise liner, the Crystal Serenity. Fans can experience this extraordinary adventure for $289.
