D4: Dark Dreams Don’t Die Headed to PC

D4: Dark Dreams Don’t Die is an episodic game series on Xbox One developed by Hidetaka Suehiro and Access Games, following the events of a private investigator who has to piece together the mystery surrounding the events that led to the murder of his wife. While he’s unable to recall the events through memory due to the trauma of the event, David Young is also able to travel through time through the use of mementos, objects and relics that connect to events in the past. Nominated for rewards such as the Best Xbox Exclusive and Destructoid’s Best of E3 2014, the Xbox One title is now headed to PC, according to an announcement by director and writer Hidetaka Suehiro first announced on Japanese gaming website Famitsu, and then confirmed on Suehiro’s Twitter page.

The Twitter announcement came after a fan inquired about the Famitsu statement, to which Suehiro, not without his sense of humor, responded with, “Yes. D4 will be release for PC. #ThanksObama” Previously Suehiro was also the writer and sometimes director for games such as Spy Fiction, Lord of Arcana, and the cult classic Deadly Premonition.
