There are several Disney movies launching over the next couple of years that we are insanely excited for, Star Wars: The Force Awakens being one of them. Disney recently released Big Hero 6 with a $56 million opening weekend, which was more than Tangled, Wreck-It-Ralph and Frozen. Disney has also announced that Disney Animation Studios will be working on two new animated films slated for the 2016 calendar year.
Zootopia will be the first film to release on March 4, 2016 with Moana arriving on November 23, 2016. Zootopia follows a fox who lives in a city where he is framed for a crime that he never committed. Moana will add a Polynesian princess to the likes of Belle, Jasmine, Tiana, Merida and the others. Moana will focus on a teenage girl who travels through the South Pacific.
