Marty McFly Buys Pepsi Perfect

Drink to Back to the Future’s Anniversary With a Pepsi Perfect

Pepsi is going retro to celebrate Back to the Future‘s  upcoming 30th anniversary.

You might remember the diner scene from Back to the Future Part II where Marty McFly buys a “Pepsi Perfect.” Now, Pepsi has announced that it is releasing a new, limited edition bottle modeled after the futuristic movie soda.

Pepsi will release just 6,500 of the collectible bottles, so get yours while supplies last. The bottle will only be sold online through their social media outlets, beginning Oct. 21, and will run $20.15. Check out the 16.9 ounce Pepsi Perfect bottle in all of its glory:

To be clear, the Pepsi Perfect bottles will not contain a new formulation. Instead, they will be filled with Pepsi Made with Real Sugar.

Pepsi will also be distributing 1,500 Pepsi Perfect bottles during this week’s New York Comic Con to cosplayers dressed up as Marty McFly. How cool is that?

The Pepsi announcement comes on the heels of many exciting events based around the BTTF 30th anniversary celebration. Nike is also planning to release a version of its self-lacing Nike Mag shoes from Back to the Future Part II.  Reston, Va., will temporarily change its name to “Hill Valley” in honor of the film from Oct. 21 to Oct. 25. AMC theaters will host all-day screenings of the trilogy Oct. 21, and Amazon will be streaming all three BTTF films to Prime Video subscribers throughout October.

Now, if we could just get that hoverboard.
