Not too long ago, NetherRealm announced the release of Mortal Kombat X. Since then, we have been receiving various videos detailing both old and new characters. The game will include a score of the generic cast such as Scorpion and Sub Zero, but will also contain a few returning characters we have not seen in a while. Quan Chi the evil sorcerer, first appeared as a playable character in Mortal Kombat 4 and will be rejoining the ranks in the upcoming title.
A Certain Fatality Will be Returning in Mortal Kombat X
A new trailer has been released detailing the fighters tricks, skills, and styles. Quan Chi has three distinct fighting styles that all involve different methods; Sorcerer, Warlock, and Summoner. As a sorcerer, Quan Chi is able to summon portals that can either buff his stats or debuff his opponents. The Warlock Quan Chi can create portals allowing him to extend the reach of his attacks, this will allow him to use the entire battle arena to whoop some serious butt! Quan Chi’s final form is the Summoner, which allows him to summon a giant bat to aid him in combat.
Mortal Kombat X will launch April 14, 2015 for Playstation 4, Playstation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and on PC.
