Jade is Gone But Not Forgotten in Mortal Kombat X

With character after character being announced as either new or returning in NetherRealm’s upcoming fighter Mortal Kombat X, its easy to forget that some characters, like the female fighter Jade, won’t be making the roster for the new game. But her sister Kitana hasn’t forgotten about her, giving one of her variations over to Jade and her lethal staff and boomerang. This announcement comes courtesy of a new video posted to the Mortal Kombat Community YouTube channel, where Quality Assurance Analyst Steve Brownback walks us through how Kitana works in the upcoming Mortal Kombat. From the format, we can expect future looks into the finer workings of a character, but for now its just Kitana.

Mortal Kombat X is the tenth main series title in NetherRealm’s illustrious fighting game franchise following off the 2011 reboot. But with Mortal Kombat X comes even better graphics, a finely tuned fighting engine, and just enough new content to draw old fans in, while still giving the franchise faithful what they came for with its history honed approach to fighting games. Mortal Kombat X is set for release this April 14th on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and Windows PC.
