Easter eggs are everywhere and we’re not talking those remaining few the kids didn’t find that should start spoiling in a couple of days.
Jurassic World has an Easter egg that many will enjoy, particularly if you loved the other Jurassic films. The official Twitter page for Jurassic World had a little sneak peek of something. The image also shows off a fancy little QR code for the movie.
When you use a smartphone scanner, there is a link that sends you to an image. This image is of a book called God Creates Dinosaurs, written by Dr. Ian Malcolm, the chaos theory loving mathematician that was played by Jeff Goldblum in Jurassic Park and Jurassic Park: The Lost World.
In case there are people who are drawing a blank, there is also a series of lines that Goldblum retorts. He says, “God creates dinosaurs. God destroys dinosaurs. God creates man. Man destroys God. Man creates dinosaurs.” Then Dr. Ellie Sattler winds up finishing his idea and says back, “Dinosaurs eat man. Woman inherits the earth.”
While Jeff Goldblum isn’t listed as far as we can see, there is still a chance that he could be making a cameo appearance, tying his previous roles together. Either way, we’re interested to see how this movie will tie the Easter egg together.
Jurassic World is roaring into theaters on June 12, 2015.
