Minecraft Fans Are Recreating Grand Theft Auto V’s Los Santos

Have you ever been playing Grand Theft Auto V and said to yourself “man Los Santos is such a great city to explore and play around it, but I wish it was more pixelated and set in Minecraft?” Most of us proably haven’t (and probably never will), but for those of you are down for that, a few dedicated Minecraft fans have you covered, as they’re currently working on recreating Rockstar’s interpretation of Los Angeles inside the open world crafting game.

A new video, which you can check out below, comes courtesy of YouTuber N11cK and his friends, as they work diligently to recreate the city within Minecraft brick by brick. They’ve made some serious progress, as the video shows off downtown Los Santos; admittedly, it’s been a few years since I myself have played Grand Theft Auto V, but from what I’ve seen they’ve been doing a really great job with it, and I can’t wait to see how well they fare.

The team posts frequent update videos of the project, so if you want to keep up to date on it, check out N11cK’s Youtube channel. Minecraft and Grand Theft Auto V are both available now for the PC.
