Offenses That Will Get You Banned in Halo 5: Guardians’ Arena

The developer of Halo 5: Guardians has revealed just what will get players banned from the upcoming titles competitive multiplayer Arena.

Arena is a mode that allows you to go head-to-head in an even playing field. Every player will enter the Arena with the exact same abilities and weapons and must fight for control of stronger weapons and power-ups while maintaining control of the map. The following offenses -if repeated- will see players expelled from the Arena: Idling, Rage Quitting, Intentional Suicide, Betrayals and Excessive disconnects.

343 Industries said “If you repeatedly engage in negative behaviors such as the ones listed above, you will receive a ban and be prevented from entering matchmaking,” They added. “The duration of each ban is dependent on the offense and becomes more severe with each successive infraction, so continually killing your teammates to steal the Sniper Rifle will quickly lead to long timeouts from matchmade play.”

Halo 5: Guardians releases exclusively for Xbox One on October 27th.
