Patrick Stewart Discusses Possible Role in Wolverine Movie

Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen are reportedly not yet done with X-men movies. According to Patrick Stewart, fans can expect to see Ian McKellen continuing his role as the older Magneto in the upcoming X-men Apocalypse.

As for Stewart and Professor Xavier, he’ll be skipping Apocalypse, but he says there have been talks of Xavier joining the third Wolverine movie. According to Stewart, “…we have been talking about a Wolverine movie, which would team Hugh Jackman and myself together. Wolverine and Professor Xavier. That would be a very different sort of ‘X-Men’ from the four movies that I’ve already done.”

What kind of team up would that look like? What mutant/world threatening antagonist could they face?

X-Men: Apocalypse is slated for a March 27, 2016 release, while the third Wolverine is due in theatres on March 3, 2017.
