Paul Rudd was on The Late Show With David Letterman last night and revealed a clip from the upcoming Marvel film, Ant-Man. Promotion has already started and with a July 17 launch, Ant-Man is looking promising already. Letterman is set to retire next month and, since Rudd more than likely won’t be able to land on the show one more time, this was an opportune time to show off the goods.
Paul Rudd plays a thief by the name of Scott Lang, who breaks into a vault in Hank Pym’s lab. While money and jewels would be the most common thing to come across, it turns out to be a motorcycle suit and helmet instead.
Rudd talks about telling his son about playing a superhero, only to get the hilarious response, “I can’t wait to see how stupid that’ll be.” I’m sure many of us are thinking it, but we also know that Guardians of the Galaxy became one of the summer’s blockbusters. As Rudd says, “Well, I guess we all can’t wait to see how stupid this will be!”
Check the clip and a brief segment from the Letterman show. Enjoy!
