“This was the first show that I watched that had female leads who could whoop ass, and what wonderful asses they whooped”, said Merfish in the video description. “The Powerpuff Girls had some of the best villains on superhero media. I’d like to think that I’m a Buttercup but I’m probably more like Bubbles.” Like all these recreations of TV show intros, it’s both funny and a pretty accurate recreation of the original, though I don’t remember Blossom ever shooting Mojo with a shotgun; must have been an lost episode.
