For a split second, gamers might have thought that Shovel Knight would be making its way to the Xbox One this week — thanks to an oopsie tweet sent out by Larry Hryb. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case and the game is actually coming out next week. Larry Hryb quickly corrected himself and players learned that they’d have to wait just a little bit longer for the 2D side scroller to dig its way into their homes. The title will be accessible through Xbox Live’s marketplace, and Xbox One gamers will be able to see Battletoads within the title.
Shovel Knight is also coming to the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and Vita today — who will be able to fight against Kratos as their special added bonus. Originally, Shovel Knight launched for 3DS, Wii U, and PC last year before Yacht Club Games decided to make ports for other consoles.
