Sinon, known as Asada Shino in the world outside of Gun Gale Online, is also nicknamed Hecate, after PGM Ultima Ratio Hecate II, the name of her sniper rifle. Interestingly enough, playing Gun Gale Online has helped her to overcome her fear of guns in the real world. After falling into a trap in the game, she ended up sniping at a particularly tough boss for hours, and as a reward she received her sniper rifle, Hecate II.
