Originating from the highly popular anime series, Attack on Titan, Mikasa Ackerman is one of the most skills Titan-fighters around. While she was offered a position defending the capital, Mikasa instead opted to stick by the side of her childhood friend, Eren Jaeger, and attack the front lines in the Survey Corps. Mikasa is constantly in the face of danger, yet always remains poised, brave, and all-around badass.
Attack on Titan has become a household title, fans flocking to the anime without second thought. It's become increasingly popular -- not that it comes as a shock. There's something that pulls you in when it comes to Attack on Titan, probably due to a combination of the characters and the fact that the people within the title are fighting against huge titans -- ones that can wreck just about anything in their way. That's where the Scout Regiment comes in, a grouping of trained soldiers specialized in attacking and getting rid of these various titans.
People have been going crazy about Attack on Titan over the past handful of years, and with it's continual rise in popularity people have grown quite attached to both the manga and anime series. It's interesting plot line -- one that centers on fighting against giant sized Titans, reels people in but the characters are what keep you wanting more. Whether it's Eren, Mikasa, Armin, Levi, Jean or the plethora of other characters you've grown attached to everyone has their favorites -- even the bad guy, err girl, has gained praise from fans.
There's no doubt that Attack on Titan has become quite the success, it's popularity expanding to anime, multitudes of merchandise, and even a live action movie. Fans seem to fall immediately in love with Eren Jaeger's story, either feeling a sense of kinship with him, his friends, or his struggles -- not that any of us have been attacked by Titans but you could stretch to it fit an everyday situation. Whatever the reason may be, Attack on Titan, or Shingeki no Kyojin, has an extensive fanbase.
Anime is built from shocking moments that can either capture a fan’s heart or leave them mentally scarred for life. There are so many memorable moments in anime history but these five scenes stood out to me the most.
