Avengers: Age of Ultron is nearing the homestretch, but there are some things about the summer blockbuster that we have yet to discover. It will tie in with HYDRA’s plans to make use of the tech that was laying around after the events of one of the Marvel movies, perhaps Captain America?
Warning, the following may contain an electric spoiler known to spoil the goods.
Comic Book Movie has a new still that shows off that spoiler from HYDRA. If we backtrack to The Avengers, when Loki opened a portal for the Chitauri warriors loose on Manhattan, there is a ripple effect and the consequences of doing so will play out in the upcoming Avengers film. It should be one of the toughest battles to date for the heroic squad.
HYDRA has been pushing forward in the last year with Avengers, Captain America: The Winter Soldier as well as on the Marvel ABC series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Agent Carter.
Synopsis:
When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to The Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for a global adventure.
Avengers: Age of Ultron drops into theaters on May 1st.
