The final chapter to The Hobbit trilogy is coming with The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies on December 17. For those who want to sit and watch all three together on December 15 in select IMAX theaters, the previous two installments will be readily available for enjoyment purposes as well as the Battle of Five Armies. The IMAX release will happen two days ahead of the full release so this is an epic event waiting to happen.
Tickets will go on sale Friday November 14. Right now, the show times are listed for An Unexpected Journey at 1pm, Desolation of Smaug at 4:05 and closing it off, the The Battle of the Five Armies at 7pm. You may need to check with your local IMAX Theater as times may vary.
The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies closes the book with, “Bilbo and Company are forced to be embraced in a war against an armed flock of combatants and the terrifying Smaug from acquiring a kingdom of treasure and obliterating all of Middle-Earth.”
