The Witcher 3 Composer Uploads Hearts of Stone Theme Song

The Witcher III: Wild Hunt has one of the better soundtracks in recent memory, taking the game’s strong fantasy themes with strong Polish roots and crafting a somber yet intense soundtrack fitting charging into battle against man and beast alike. Earlier this week, game composer Marcin Przybylowicz took to YouTube, uploading his theme song for the game’s upcoming expansion, Hearts of Stone. An all new adventure for Geralt of Rivia requires an all new theme song, and this slow, lumbering, unstoppable mix of violin strings and deep drum beats results in a foreboding song of combat and violence, just around the horizon.

Originally released on May 19th of this year, The Witcher 3 by CD Projekt Red went on to receive a number of accolades not only for its visual appeal and dense lore and immersion, but the soundtrack which helped intertwine the entire experience together. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Hearts of Stone will be released this October 12th.
