Lyddi Design took on a Elder Scrolls classic with her rendition of the Savior’s Hide from Skyrim. A daedric item of power – you get this set in Skyrim from completing a certain quest a certain way (which I won’t spoil for those that haven’t played yet!). Particular to Skyrim, the Savior’s Hide is a unique light armor cuirass, one of the artifacts of the Daedric Prince Hircine.
Not only did she knock the photos out of the park with some of my favorite cosplay photographers – Dim Horizon Studios – she wrote a fantastic step by step on the construction! Using craft wire she formed her own chain link, sewed her own leather parts, and topped certain pieces with worbla to complete a WOW visual composite. Her choices and construction are absolutely spot-on and I will be sure to bookmark her construction walk-through for future projects of my own!
