Trine 3 Gets Early Access Date

Frozenbyte has announced the date that Early Access will be available for their mystical physics and block-manipulating action platformer Trine 3: The Artifacts of Power, hitting Steam Early Access this April 21st. This Early Access period will allow fans to play the game and communicate with developers as it continues to grow and evolve towards the final project. Exclusively for PC, Trine 3 follows the same object-manipulation platforming format as the predecessor, except with new levels, interactables, and a bigger and wider scale than in previous games.

Originally released in 2009, the first Trine found breakout success on PC and PlayStation Network, with the second entry in the franchise, Trine 2, which would hit both PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade in December of 2011, and later on Wii U. Trine 2 was also a PlayStation 4 launch title, as well as the first PlayStation 4 game to support stereoscopic 3D. No full release date has been given yet, but if you’re a fan of the Trine series this is an excellent chance to get a first-hand look prior to the full release. A new trailer was also put out today, check it out below.
