We may now have a release date for the Need for Speed reboot, courtesy of Microsoft. According to a product page on Xbox’s official site for the game that has since been taken down, the reboot of the beloved racing series is set to supposedly launch on November 3rd in North America and November 5th in Europe. In addition, the page reveals that the game will feature five unique play styles-Speed, Style, Build, Crew, and Outlaw-each with their own reputation to earn.
The game is also set to take place in the fictional West Coast Ventura Bay, which in addition to a downtown section, will also include a harbor and canyon. Whether this leaked release date is real or not remains to be seen, but we won’t have to wait long to know for sure, as it’s safe to assume that EA will talk more about the new Need for Speed at their E3 press conference soon. The game is still slated for a fall release on Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
