Nintendo has announced a special launch event for their monster collecting and battle Nintendo 3DS title Yo-Kai Watch, which has gone to muster a huge following in Japan as well as the US, where the game hasn’t even launched yet. The event, which is scheduled for Saturday, November 7th, will be held at the Nintendo World Center at 10 Rockefeller Plaza in New York City, New York, and will run from 11:00AM to 2:00PM. At the event, fans will be able to get an autograph from President/CEO of LEVEL-5 Inc, as well as check out the new game, which will be released the day before.
In the past, Nintendo has held similar events for Super Smash Bros. and Pokemon, which Yo-Kai Watch has often found itself compared to. How much of that comparison holds merit? Quite a bit, considering that the title has already moved over a million units in Japan alone by last year. If you happen to find yourself in New York this coming weekend, be sure to drop by Nintendo World Center and check it out.
