Yoshimitsu Announced for Tekken 7

Bandai Namco have today announced the return of the Manji ninja Yoshimitsu for Tekken 7, and will be hitting arcade in Japan next week as an additional character. Interestingly the new incarnation of Yoshimitsu looks very different from previous ones, looking more like a tentacle monster rather than an old samurai warlord. Whether you like him or not he’s back so if you aren’t a fan of him be ready to kick him down a peg.

The new version of Yoshimitsu will hit on May 12 as and you can see below in the new video he means business. Obviously it’s going to be some time before we see any sign of this content in the west, though with these new character reveals we could see something more at E3 which takes place in June. Yoshimitsu joins other returning characters such as Alisa Bosconovitch, Asuka Kazama, Bryan Fury, and more alongside newcomers Lucky Chloe, Shaheen, Josie Rizal and others. Until then all there is to do is watch videos in Japanese of all the amazing fights being help in Japan.
